They actually met on Facebook dating! Lizzy liked the photo of Tyler holding a puppy, and he liked her photo of her and her dog Cali both dressed like cows. They began to talk, realized they had a lot in common, and made each other laugh all the time! After talking for a few months, they decided to meet up for dinner, and it was game over for Lizzy. She knew Tyler was the one. She went home that night happier than she’s been in a long time, and told all of her friends how much she liked Tyler. Tyler also knew that night that Lizzy was something special, and he really liked her. They continued to talk and hangout with each other for a while. Lizzy was getting a little annoyed with Tyler though, because he wouldn’t make it official. Then finally one night after doing the nighttime tour at Alcatraz with some friends, Lizzy told Tyler she needed an official label, then Tyler told her, “I thought we already were official for the last few months. Will you be my official girlfriend?” And the rest is history!

Lizzy went to Maui with Tyler and his entire family in June 2023. She thought it was just a fun family vacation, little did she know that he had a big surprise waiting for her. After a fun day at Maui Brewing Company, everyone was in a chaotic rush to get back to the condo and then to Makena Beach to watch the sunset. They all packed into the car, drove to the beach, and started taking pictures of the beautiful sunset. Lizzy and Tyler walked a little down the beach, she was taking several photos of the sunset, and didn’t even see Tyler get down on one knee where he then asked her to marry him. She was in complete shock at first, but of course she said yes!! Later that night, everyone celebrated the engagement with drinks and a nighttime swim in the pool.

Tyler and Lizzy are best friends. They still make each other laugh every day and are truly happy. Tyler loves Lizzy’s dog Cali, and considers her his “doghter.” Lizzy and Tyler just recently got another dog, Kenna, and she’s a great addition to their little family. They can’t wait to start their new life together as husband and wife!
